Experience a short safari tour in Tanzania’s Northern Circuit. We’ll arrange a 1-day Ngorongoro Crater safari from Arusha. This safari program will take you to the famous Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game viewing. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a protected area and a World Heritage Site located 180km (110) west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania.
Our driver-guide will pick you up at your accommodation in Arusha and drive 190km on the tarmac road to the Ngorongoro Conservation gate. Drive to the Crater Rim and spend a few minutes enjoying the awesome view of the Crater from the top at crater viewpoint, then descend to the crater floor for a day of game drives. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the largest intact calderas in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in the whole of Africa. All the Big Five, such as Black rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant, live in this wonderful caldera. Others include zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingos on the soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and many other bird families. You’ll later ascend the Crater and drive back to Arusha
